The agent/applicant/attorney involved receives a hearing notice notifying them of the application number and hearing date fixed. The hearing notice is usually sent 15 days prior to the hearing date. The Notice is also available on the portal https://ipindiaonline.gov.in/eregister/eregister.aspx under the heading Correspondence & Notice.

The request for the same can be made through filing of TM-M form along with reason for expedite process.

Adjournment means that the applicant is provided with an opportunity to present his submissions on the next hearing scheduled and no adverse order is passed by the registrar.

In most cases, the trademark hearing can be adjourned maximum 2-3 times depending upon the circumstances.
